Summer Classics Outdoor Furniture began its journey to patio furniture excellence in 1978 as a plastic umbrella base manufacturer. This was far before consumers craved outdoor furniture that was built to last and instead purchased something similar to these early 70’s chairs pictured below.

Needless to say, patio furniture has come a long way since the 70s.
